The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) is a recruitment body that was started with an aim to encourage the recruitment and placement of young graduates in public sector banks in India, other than the State Bank of India. It also provides standardised systems for assessment and result processing services to organisations
IBPS is governed by a board that includes nominees from government organisations such as the Reserve Bank of India, Ministry of Finance Government of India, Indian Institute of Technology Mumbai, Indian Institute of Banking and Finance, National Institute of Bank Management, Indian Banks' Association and the public sector banks.
There will be Two parts of Online Examination Preliminary and Mains. Preliminary test will be of 1 Hour Duration and candidates shortlisted in the Preliminary test will later be called for Mains test to be of 3 Hours Duration.
Candidates shortlisted in Mains will later be called to participate in the Common Interviews.
Upon Completion of Common Interviews, a common merit will be made on the basis of Online test and Interviews. Candidates will then be allotted to any one of participating banks based on Candidates' Preferences and Merit List.
Online test will be in Two phases of Online objective tests - Preliminary and Mains.
Those clearing the Prelimnary test will be called for mains test.
Candidates shortlisted in both the Prelims and mains test will then be called for Common Interviews.
Provisional allotments to any of the participating banks will be made based on preferences set by the candidates and Overall performance - Prelims test, Mains test and Interviews.

CLASSROOM COACHING PROGRAM Our Six Weeks Classroom SSC Staff Selection Commission coaching program is scientifically designed result oriented program, which not only assists you in grasping the basic core concepts but also focusses on increasing your speed and accuracy. Instead of mugging formulae we want you to understand the concept and follow the simplest possible approach to solve the problems.
STEP 1: The classroom coaching program starts with a mock test on the day one with the SWOT analysis and in depth discussion of the test on the next day. The analysis brings out the natural strong and weak areas of the candidate alongwith the opportunity and threat areas. This step ensures that the candidate and the faculty members know where the focus is required.
STEP 2: The next four weeks are invested on reviewing the complete topics from Quantitative Aptitude, Reasoning Analysis and English interspersed with Computing Aptitude, Clerical Aptitude and General Awareness. The methodology of two hours classwork and approx 3-4 hours of homework is followed, with focus on core concept building and practicing enough solved and unsolved problems so as to increase accuracy and speed of the candidate.
Also, 10 X 3 = 30 Random tests from Reasoning Analysis, Quantitative Aptitude and Competitive English are organized in these four weeks so as to measure the learning process of the candidates.
STEP 3: Finally the program is brought to conclusion by a series of full length mock test papers in the actual exam like environment. For every test detailed scorecard for the test is furnished so as minimize the small and stupid mistakes and giving final shape to candidates' test taking strategies.
